We offer our guests a unique experience to stay in 1870's adobe buildings, while enjoying all the modern conveniences.  At 5,000 feet elevation, we have cooler temperatures in the high verdant desert. Our Retreat is conveniently located off Arizona Highway 186 south of Willcox in the ghost town of Dos Cabezas.  Only minutes from services in Willcox, hiking in the Chiricahua's or wine tasting, we are more than a cozy bed.

The Pioneer Guest House includes 2 private bedroom suites with private bathrooms, separate locking exterior and interior doors. Both bedrooms open into the Community Room, which includes a large library table and chairs, recliners, large screen Smart TV and extensive reference library on local cultural and natural histories. The Arizona Room is perfect for socializing, watching wildlife and enjoying Arizona skies and mountain views. The fully enclosed fenced-in Pioneer garden includes areas to sit to watch the sunset or sunrise on the Dos Cabezas mountain, reading, stargazing and a walk in the meditation labyrinth. Use the black light at night to see which rocks are florescent. 

Our Casita across the driveway includes a dining table, microwave, refrigerator, 12-cup Keurig machine, hot pot, complimentary teas, coffee and hot chocolate, dishes, cutlery and wine glasses.  

Choose the accommodation right for your escape:  The Pioneer Guest House for a party of four to enjoy the property by themselves; or either the Kirby or Duncan Suites, for parties of two each, in which guests will share the common living, dining and garden areas together.  We offer accommodations for couples looking for a romantic celebration getaway; a group to go wine tasting; discover adventure by hiking in the Chiricahua Mountains or just relax to escape the heat & the crazy pace of city life. Bring some friends and make some lasting memories.
